The Monstrous Potion
the world of witches, werewolves, mummies and other monsters is totally upside down: their king, the Count Dracula, has decided to stop frightening the young and the old alike, and this for ever! The witch Melusine knows a potion which would enable things to get back to normal but the ingredients are difficult to find and she needs the help of little monsters to succeed in this task.

The monstrous potion
The King of the monsters, the famous Vampire Dracula has gone completely crazy! He has certainly been bewitched. Imagine: he has decided not to frighten the children ever again! He doesn’t want to transform himself into a bat anymore. He even talked about getting his vampire teeth out and selling candies! This cannot go on any longer.
Fortunately, I know a magic potion that will give Dracula all his monstrousness back and which is quite simply named: the Monstrous Potion! The trouble is that the magic ingredients are well hided to avoid them falling into the wrong hands. You will need to find them all and discover their names. Here are the labels. Each time you discover an ingredient, you will need to solve a riddle to know how it is called. Do not forget to stick the right label on the box to avoid mixing all the ingredients up when you will follow the recipe of the magic potion.
Do you feel capable of carrying out this task? Will you be able to solve the riddles and meet the challenges?

The children will follow a trail and will alternate riddles and challenges to discover all the ingredients of the Monstrous Potion. They will also prepare and savour this magical mixture… which is actually a delicious chocolate fondue in which your little monsters will be able to dip bats’ hearts, roots of carnivorous plants and poisoned rats’ livers!

Material required
Everything is provided in the game kit so that you have nothing to add in decoration and accessories. The preparation for the treasure hunt requires only a printer and sheets as well as small office equipment that you will easily find at home: scissors, glue, pens, felt-tip pens, thumbtacks, string…
Treasure hunt Halloween 8, 9, 10 years old – technical information

- The kit comprises 5 PDF files. If you do not have such a software, you can download a free viewer, such as Adobe Reader for example.
